I was asked by the Smith College Alumnae of Chicago
to design a postcard inviting prospective students to a tea event.
The design was very simple, connecting meaning with a simple
imagery symbolizing the ceremonious aspect of tea one can
find in the Far East. I wanted to project this image of tea
as a necessary social binder, as a reason to gather together.
