As the Head of Multimedia Communication at the French Consulate in New York, I had the opportunity to design and
produce brochures, pamphlets, and cards intended for internal and external use. Here, you will find a brochure intended for internal use, the new
official greeting card of the Consulate, and a pamphlet left at our reception desk
explaining the services provided by the Consulate. The constraints were high and the few graphic symbols that the French Republic possesses had to be used,
most of the time, in a very literal way.
The idea behind these designs was to put some humanity in what would be otherwise
perceived as a careless bureaucracy producing numerous documents, without ever asking itself about who reads them and the experience of reading them.
