Web Design & Front-End Engineering

This website was designed and developped in order to promote an iconic building close to Madison Square Park.

One of the difficulties of this assignment was the lack of assets to work with. Only a few photographs, and almost no text. Despite these constraints, the client wanted something out of the ordinary, something not only selling but establishing his brand. The website needed therefore to be playful, highly animated to make up for the lack of content but somehow also had to be unusual without being too gimmicky. I thought of those moving panels and slanted text to create a visual unity. In order for the website to be responsive, I had to recalculate at every window resize, the placement and slanting of the text.
